How to Solder SMT

Soldering Surface Mount Technology (SMT) components is a precise skill. Follow these steps for successful SMT soldering:

1. Prepare Workspace:
   • Clean your workspace.
   • Ensure good lighting.
2. Gather Tools:
   • Soldering iron with fine tip.
   • Flux.
   • Solder wire (thin).
   • Tweezers.
   • SMT components.
3. Heat Soldering Iron:

5. Position Component:

6. Tack One Corner:
   • Melt a small amount of solder onto one pad.

8. Solder Remaining Pins:
   • Apply heat to the pad and component simultaneously.
